While we are indeed still tracking a massive $400 price drop on the 8 Pro model, Amazon is giving folks a chance not secure an equally as impressive deal on the Google Pixel 8 at $399 shipped today. This model is still sold for $699 via Google, but you can now lock one in at Amazon with a serious $300 price drop. This is only the second-time we have ever seen the Obsidian Black Pixel 8 drop this low at Amazon. 

As of right now, the listing that has the Pixel 8 down this low on Amazon is going in and out of stock. But just remember, you can still lock-inch the heavily discounted price on this one right now anyway – it will let you secure the discounted price and checkout even if the Amazon listing says “Temporarily out of stock” when you click through our links. Just note that shipping times might be delayed as well. 

Needless to say, this is not the new Pixel 9 series. But it also still a compelling option for folks that don’t need the latest and greatest and one that comes in at a whole lot less – the Pixel 9 is selling for $700 at Amazon on sale right now. 

The Pixel 8 runs on Google’s Tensor G3 chip with Google AI alongside a up to 24 hours of battery life that can be expanded to as much as 72 hours when the phone is in Extreme Battery Saver mode. 

If you’re looking for a device at a major discount that is perhaps even more future-proof than the base model Pixel 8, the aforementioned Pixel 8 Pro deal is worth look. You can still score a giant $400 price drop on Amazon here, but there’s no telling how much longer it might stick around for.
