One of the most important and radical new features Samsung introduced with One UI 7.0 is the Now Bar. It displays information on your phone that is relevant to you and at a particular time. Samsung is planning to improve it with more third-party service integrations.
According to a report from ETNews, Samsung is planning to improve the Now Bar feature’s effectiveness by integrating it with more third-party apps. In South Korea, the company is working with local firms like Kakao and Naver to bring their services to One UI 7.0’s Now Bar.
Kakao T is said to become the first taxi app to support Now Bar. It can display taxi-related information, such as the estimated time of arrival for pickup or the estimated time to reach your drop location. It will also display the trip time.
Naver Sports will also be integrated into the Now Bar. After Google Sports, Naver Sports will become the second sports score provider. It will reportedly display sports scores through Naver’s My Team across several sports, including baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Currently, Now Bar supports 11 services, including services from Google and Samsung. In South Korea, existing third-party integrations include Baedal Minjok (South Korea’s biggest food delivery service), Kakao Navi (Maps & Navigation), and Naver Maps (Maps & Navigation).
The Now Bar supports Cross-App Actions, one of the Galaxy S25’s core features. It securely transfers data from one application to another through Bixby. Samsung plans to add more third-party integrations for Now Bar in the future.
