BrandDocs is a set of agent skills developed by ferdinandobons on GitHub. It is built for Claude Code (and compatible AI agents) and works with Microsoft Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), and Excel (.xlsx) templates. On the first run, BrandDocs extracts your brand elements from your templates — theme colours, fonts, named styles, document structure, cover layouts, logos, and tables — into a portable Brand Profile. Subsequent document generation uses this profile to produce on-brand outputs.
The first time you run BrandDocs on a template, it extracts a complete Brand Profile — all the visual and structural elements that define your brand’s document style. This profile is stored as a portable file that can be shared across team members.
Unlike generic AI document generators that create documents from scratch and try to match your style visually, BrandDocs generates new documents from the original template shell. The brand elements come directly from the template rather than being approximated by the AI.
BrandDocs handles all three major Microsoft Office formats — and the equivalent LibreOffice formats. This covers the vast majority of business document types.
The initial brand extraction from a new template takes up to 15 minutes with an AI agent. Subsequent document generation from a saved profile takes seconds. The upfront investment is a one-time cost per template.
BrandDocs is designed as Claude Code skills, meaning it integrates into your existing Claude Code workflow. Once installed, you can ask Claude Code to generate documents and it will use your brand profile automatically.
