Results were consistently accurate and well-structured. The model understood UK-specific context when prompted and produced readable explanations at appropriate technical levels. For educational content creation, Qwen performs at a level that competes with the best commercial models.

The open-weight availability is Qwen’s most significant differentiator. Users with capable hardware (an Nvidia RTX 3090 or better runs the 7B or 14B models comfortably; 70B requires multiple GPUs or CPU offloading) can run Qwen entirely locally with no API costs and complete privacy.
